Great headphones! It is a steal for the price!!! The headphone are pretty amazing. I have doubted about the 5 star reviews as I read the remark that somebody might have got paid for writing the 5 star reviews. I am almost positive that they are fake. However, as the price dropped to $97.00, I decided to give it a try. I had some good experience with Linx Audio, so I knew I wouldn’t be too disappointed. I have been using them for more than a week now, and I simply love them. The built quality (5/5)These headphones are built to last. Very high quality plastic. It reminds me of the high endurance outdoor carrying case for my SLR cameras. The cushions are very comfortable. It stays in place very well and looks good. As it is the highest end from Ableplanet, you can tell they are putting the best materials they could to make these headphones. Talking about the overall comfortableness to me, I wish they could have a larger ear cap. I do have a huge head and moderately large ears that L size cap could not fit my head. But…

Two BAD Sets in a row First I want to say that I really wanted these headsets to work for me. To give you some background I’ve worked as a broadcast engineer for the past thirty years and have had to wear headsets as part of the job throughout the years also I wouldn’t consider myself an audiophile but I do own what would be considered budget audiophile gear like JM Lab speakers. I’m getting ready to take a trip to Europe and wanted to treat myself to some nice headsets without paying the high price for the Bose. When I received the headsets I liked the way they looked, similar to the Bose, but with some added features like being able to work with or without a battery and using a generic mini plug. It came with a nice carrying case with plane adapters and looked quality and well made, the cans themselves were very comfortable and I think you could wear these for hours without fatigue. The only thing was I heard a small RATTLE when I unpacked them, but ignored it thinking it was just shipping tension. I put…

Very Dissapointed I started a new job about a year ago and it requires me to fly very often, so I have been searching for good NC headphones. I wanted to try something other than Bose just because I didn’t want to drop $300. I found the able planet headphones on amazon on sale for $55. I read the customer reviews as well as a cnet review. They all sounded great so I decided to go for it. Unfortunately I am very disappointed. The sound quality is poor, I always have an annoying scratching/crackling noise with the NC on. The NC is bad. I am on a plane as I write this and can hear everything around me. The roar of the engine, typing on a keyboard, wrinkling of peanut wrappers, clink of silverware, people talking. It’s almost as if there is no noise canceling at all. Also they aren’t very comfortable. I have a small head (6 7/8 hat) and these are tight. Will be returning them. Only reason I gave 2 stars is cause of the price.
