It was a sad time when cassettes were replaced by CDs, and mixed tapes faded out of existence like the ending of your favorite 80s pop song. We may not be able to (or want to) listen to a Walkman, but Skullcandy lets us treasure our favorite audio format with the Cassette Mic1 headphones. But you can’t help but cue up your Michael Jackson playlist and execute some choreography when you’ve popped the Cassette Mic1 headphones over your ears. As expected I reviewed the product thoroughly before ordering it. The delivery was timely, the product was perfect and my husband was surprised by his Christmas gift. When he listens to music on the chairlift, I can’t hear it. Everyone is happy!

Does not sound worth $50. I’m not sure if maybe I got a bad pair, but this is just the experience I had.I bought these headphones after reading some mixed reviews, but they leaned more to the positive side so it seemed okay. Turns out the quality was just not there at all. The high end is constricted and there is a large emphasis on the low-mids, making everything sound muddy and far away. I’m not saying that I was expecting perfect clarity from these headphones, being $50, but the earbuds that I was replacing with these were $20, and had much better clarity than these.I will make note that although the ear cups are a little small, that didn’t bother me at all, and the design was actually really appealing to me, which makes it all the more upsetting that the sound couldn’t hold up. I also was not able to tell how they feel over a long period of time since I plugged them in once, listened to about 3 minutes of music to test them, and immediately packaged them for returning. Also…

Scam I wouldn’t recomend buying any product from Active Life Store, since what I bought was the Skullcandy Cassette headphones , but got instead some kind of “giro” version of them[…] the have giro logo all over them .. Maybe someone wouldn’t think it’s a big deal, but it is for me because I buy these headphones because I have a SKDY colection, so no skdy box, stickers, and this is definately not what I wanted to buy. If I wanted the giro ones I would’ve bought them. You may ask yourself why didn’t I return them, well, thats because I don’t live in the states and I’m out of time for another shipping.I hope this helps other people from being scammed as I was.
